Ahhhh.... Halloween has come and gone. I am sad. But no worries, I will continue on in the festive spirit of this wonderful 3-month period of holidays. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. I'll go forward with the decorations and the other baubles of the season. This is truly the best time of the year.

And on to the topic at hand, Halloween! I picked up the boys early from daycare yesterday and Trent met us at the YMCA where they had a Halloween Carnival. Sean played some games and won some little trinkets. We went home and ate dinner, and then proceeded to re-dress the kids in their outfits. Sean, a very cute "Star Wars Guy" as he puts it, and Will a Scarecrow. I was the accompanying gardener and Trent was the reluctant Jedi Master. Once we finally got out the door I wanted to take some photos, and Will was anything but cooperative (see photo with reluctant Jedi dad). Sean was more interested in shoving his light saber in my face. But, we did get a couple of pics, nevertheless.

An hour and about 9 houses later, we pulled back into the driveway with a very happy little Jedi and a tired Scarecrow. Sean made quite a haul for the few houses we stopped at in our neighborhood.

So, Oct. 31 is over and it's November. It was a great Halloween, and next year will be even better, I'm sure.
