"Away in a manger..." (see photo of Sean plugging his ears, looking around, and basically not paying attention at all). This pretty much sums up his very first Christmas program! He tells us afterward that the words for "Poor Baby Jesus" were just too hard for him to remember. Anyway, our little angel had a wonderful time, sitting in the "magic blue chairs" that kept all the 3 year olds quiet at the front of the church. We were stuck in the very back of the church (go figure). Ah well, we'll know better next year.

Later in the afternoon my mom, sisters and niece and I went down to St. Cloud for the Nutcracker Ballet. Sean, Will, Trent and my dad stayed home. Yes! A afternoon off. can you believe it? After the performance we all decided that we were not exactly the ballet going type, and we had had our fill of men in spandex for quite some time. Especially white spandex. On an aging man. Yikes. But nevertheless, it was a good experience and the girls were lovely. We all really liked the little mice. How cute! After the ballet we went to Red Lobster to eat. [NOTE TO ANYONE WHO DECIDES RESTAURANT PLANNING IN THE BRAINERD AREA: PLEASE GET A RED LOBSTER TO COME TO TOWN. PLEASE!] The food was great, company even better. We had a really nice time.

So that was my weekend. Hope you all had a good one too. Stay posted for Christmas cookie escapades to come within the week! Later.
