"It's the most wonderful time of the year..." How true, how true. Well, I am sitting back at my desk this morning after a wonderfully long Christmas break (Dec. 22-Jan. 1). It was hard to get up and at 'em this morning, I tell ya, but alas, we can't be on vacation forever. Anyhoo, this Christmas was so much fun. Sean really had a great time sledding, fishing, playing games, doing puzzles, and all of the other stuff that being at home with family allows. As he moved his little calendar dot on the frig each morning he'd ask "Is it a stay home day Mama?" I'd say "Yup!" and he'd belt out a "Woo-hoo!" And off he would go in a flash to bug Trent. Ahhh. Will enjoyed he time off as well. He got in a lot of walking practice, and now he's parading all over the house on his chubby little legs. He did a lot of cuddling and yelling "Da-Dee! Da-Dee!" I know I've said it before, but he is just hilarious.
So now on to the explanation of some of the photos... The first one is the only shot I got of the kids together. Will unfortunately was quite sick while at my Mom & Dad's. So every photo I've got of him is pretty sad. Oh well. It's how we'll remember Christmas in '07. Then there are various other shots... Sean riding Will's rocking horse, Daddy & Sean with the Crappies they caught, the cousins Maggie & Sadie with Sean on the couch (crabby pattie). And of course the only time Will is truly happy, giving Deuce lots of love. Those two will be inseparable in a couple of years, just wait and see. Oh, and Sean's new bunk beds. Twin over a double, which will really will be nice if we get company. It opens up his room a lot. It looks really cute.
For me, I got to paint my bedroom "Kestrel Grey"... it looks sooooo cool! Many of you will get to see it on Sean's birthday on the 12th. Sweeeeet! I'll try to take a pic tonight so you can see.
That's about it for the Baumanns in 2007. We hope that you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year, and all the best to you in 2008!
