My baby is 4 years old! How on earth did that happen? Didn't he just say his first sentence? ["Buh bye birdie.."] Take his first steps? [11 months] And all those other milestones? Good grief. This was a hard one for me. I don't know what it is about Sean turning 4, but my oh my, it was rough on Mommy. Worse than me turning 30, for sure. I know I should be thrilled that he is a wonderfully active, brilliant little boy, who is far beyond his years in vocabulary (that's good and bad), and is a mean little fisherman, and excels at anything that has to do with dirt, cars and dinosaurs... but that means he's growing up. Sigh. So, I guess I'd better be happy that he still likes to sit on my lap. Still gives me good night kisses. Still likes me in general. Ha! Although some days he gives me glimpses of the teenager to come... huffing and puffing, rolling his eyes (I have no idea where he got that from--hee hee). So this entry is dedicated to my oldest son (I could just cry). He'll always be my Sean, and we love him more than he'll ever know. Even though I'll tell him each and everyday. :)
p.s. And yes, there are 2 dinosaur cakes. I attempted to make one... and it tasted a lot better than it looked. You try frosting a rough edge cake! It's hard! (Leave the cake decorating to the pros, ladies & gentlemen, unless you're feeling lucky.)
