We are taking a family photo... and I mean it this time!
Ok, so I have three LARGE frames hanging down my stairs at home. The first one has a picture of Seanski and the one on the end is the Willster. In the middle there is this beautiful photo of an anonymous woman. She is quite stunning, and I'd love to leave her up there, but she has barcodes and 11 x 14 written all over her face. My goal in putting her up was that we might get enough flak from visitors so that we would eventually take a family picture. ( I have tried to do this a dozen times, with no luck.) Well, this last weekend, I laid out the clothes, got out the tripod and ORDERED the boys to get ready for a photo. There was a little disgruntled grunting and whining, but I finally got them out of the house. We took a short trip (down the road a couple of houses, literally) and I plopped the camera in a field. After running back and forth about 10 times (Man was I hot and sweaty... I sacrificed myself on this one. The boys all look good, but Mom is lacking a little. Oh well. All for the greater good.) and smiling at the blinking little white light, we got what I consider to be a decent family photo. Whew. So now I can finally say goodbye to the beautiful model hanging on my wall, and say hello to our new family photo. Yeah!
